Her passing is generating a lot of mean-sprited disrespect on conservative websites. sigh.
Can you provide some examples, Earl?
My own feeling is that I’m sorry she’s dead, in the “any man’s death diminishes me because I am involved in Mankind” sense, her style of music was not one that I cared much for, and she seems like a good example of a life ruined by drugs. (Also, I’m not sure legalization would have made much of a difference; as far as I can tell, drugs were effectively legalized for her.)
If that’s mean-spirited disrespect, I plead guilty.
Also, glad to see you posting here again, Earl.
