Is this a dagger that I see before me?

The Transportation Security Administration says officers found two throwing daggers hidden in a hollowed-out book at a checkpoint at Reagan-Washington National Airport.

The daggers measured just over a half-foot long

Or, as we in the civilized world call it, “six inches”. About the length of a ballpoint pen.
