Randi Shade’s first ethics complaint was dismissed on Friday; somehow I managed to miss that. (Previously.)

Ms. Shade has responded by filing a second ethics complaint against her opponent, Kathie Tovo. We’ll see how that works for her.

    Austinist submitted a list of questions to each city council candidate.

    I liked Shade’s answers better than Tovo’s.

    Not that I can vote for either, being just outside the city limits.

    But filing ethics complaints after getting into a runoff election seems really petty and childish, especially when the alleged violation isn’t really that big of a deal.
