As we all know, Bob, this means the Astros won’t be able to sell beer at Minute Maid Park the rest of the season…
…because they lost the opener.

In case anyone was wondering, Gonzaga plays Purdue tonight. Purdue is a pretty heavy favorite, but we’ve seen a lot of favorites get knocked out this year. I wouldn’t count Gonzaga out just yet.

Sorry for the Astros bad luck. But I see that after two games into the season, my Detroit Tigers are in first place in the AL Central.
I had to say that, since I don’t expect to be able to say it for much longer. But they do have a different feel this year. That is why we Detroit sports fans continue to back our Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons every year.
OK so I had to say the Wings and the Pistons, even though I don’t root for them. I don’t like the two sports.
