    Nelda Wells-Spears was a true public servant, and for years, the only Democrat I’d vote for. Her dedication to customer service was astonishing. My wife, a native of Cook County/Chicago, was astounded at how quickly we were able to get our car registered in Texas; it was 20 minutes in and out; that would have been an all-day affair in Chicago. Never a whiff of scandal.
