I wonder how the performance numbers compare to a pistol crossbow.
I don’t have time for much more than a quick look at the moment, but it looks like full-size crossbows top out at about 375 fps. One can assume that the velocity from a pistol crossbow would be lower.
I was going to make a snarky comment about crossbows not costing $400+, but apparently, the higher-end ones do run into the $800 and up range.
